As with my performing work, I can bring a wide range of skills and experience to bear in various fields of tuition and education. I have devised and co-led a number of workshops, taking brass instruments and chamber music into schools in South London and South Wales, at both primary and secondary levels (Key Stages 2, 3 and 4). As part of the BBC's 'Endangered Species' scheme, and more recently with the government's Wider Opportunities programme, I have introduced pupils across a similar age-range to the experience of playing a brass instrument for the first time. I have played an active role in Gloucestershire Music's Wider Opportunities delivery (2008-2010) and in the London Borough of Newham's 'Every Child a Musician' scheme from 2011.
I offer tuition for learners of all ages in the following disciplines, at the levels shown:
- Trombone (including bass trombone), baritone/euphonium (Beginner - Advanced)
- Other brass instruments by arrangement (Beginner - Intermediate)
